What Jesus said about being His DiscipleAnd Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men. Matthew 28:18-20 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. John 15:7,8 And he (Jesus) said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given. Mark 4:24 Watch and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit is truly ready, but the flesh is weak. Ephesians 5:18-20 AMP SummaryJesus told us to become fishers of men, telling others how to be born again and be his disciples. He told us to let His words abide in us. He told us to pray so that we would not enter into temptation. He told us to give to others and promised that He would give to us. Through the apostle Paul he told us to pray in tongues to build ourselves up. Finally to thank the Father for all his blessings to us.
