Q22. Are there not twelve hours in the day?

Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.  John 11:9

Background

Here Jesus , on hearing that Lazarus is sick , is planning to return to Judæa. His disciples remind him that that he was almost stoned there, and that he might not be safe. Jesus responds by asking them the above question. We too need to focus on the truth that Jesus is the Light of the World.
